* I’m using Jynx’s Rabbithole Rugs which I originally downloaded from Custom Sims 3. So, in theory, this means you should only need to send a sim to shop from the Grocery Rabbithole Rug once but this doesn’t always work in practice. You can now go to these shops to buy your own ingredients. Once the ingredients are sold, the mod can be set up to make a sim restock them, which then automatically replaces the ingredients on the shelves. The grocery mods allow you to add groceries across The Sims 4. I’m using Ani’s Savvier Seller Mod which allows sims to buy the ingredients. Then it’s just a matter of dragging the ingredients from her personal inventory onto the shelves in the Grocery Store. The ingredients she bought will appear in her personal inventory, just as if she went shopping in the Rabbithole Building. Once she’s finished shopping from the rug, I sell it in Buy Mode. This mod expands EA recipes, adds more serving sizes to EA recipes, adds custom ingredients, and even adds grocery shopping to your game. Then I click on the rug and make her ‘Shop for Groceries’. The ingredients are all from the Grocery Rabbithole but seeing as I don’t have a Grocery Rabbithole Building in my town, I buy a Grocery Rabbithole Rug (* see below for download link) from Buy Mode and temporarily place it in my active sims house.
